Kay Sasatomi serves as Senior Vice President at NAI Capital in West Los Angeles. She specializes in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of office, retail and development properties in Hollywood and the Greater Los Angeles area.

Notable transactions over her career include the sale of a 2-acre assemblage on a key corner in Hollywood at Sunset & Highland, sale of a parcel adjacent to the Capitol Records building in Hollywood to a multi-national hotel developer at a record price, sale of Ed Wood’s studio, sale of Charlie Chaplin’s studio and sale of a raw warehouse in Hollywood at a record price. Kay also played an integral role in Musicians Institute’s $50 million campus expansion in Hollywood.  

Background & Experience

Kay Sasatomi brings over 15 years of commercial real estate experience to NAI Capital. Prior to joining the firm, Kay worked with Silver Commercial, Colliers International and Grubb & Ellis. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from UCLA. In addition to her spatial-visualization ability and problem-solving skills, Kay brings a wealth of project management experience from the entertainment industry, where she worked as a producer in both film and television, allowing her to maintain extensive contacts within the entertainment industry. Her skills in contract negotiations, contract management, client relations and networking, coupled with her knowledge of design and architecture, translate effectively into selling commercial real estate.

Kay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from UCLA School of Arts and Architecture.
